The UEZ will deliver 4 000 sq m of incubation and grow-on facility to promote business/university collaboration and generate innovation, entrepreneurship, jobs and economic growth. The UEZ development will create: — shared laboratory facilities, lettable lab space (including basic laboratory equipment) and linked offices. — lettable office/workshop space to accomodate upto 65 businesses. — Dedicated private meeting rooms. — Virtual office facilities. — Facilities for UEZ management and business support services. — Communical networking and meeting space and an on-site cafe shared with BRL and other university and business users. The M&E plant that serves T Block (W Block and the adjacent ECC) is beyond it~s servicable life so as part of the UEZ project, extensive plant and distribution upgrades will be required.
