(s) The Contracting Authority is undertaking the ‘ELI: Extreme Light Infrastructure’ project (hereinafter the ‘ELI — Beamlines Project’ or the ‘Project’) with the objective of building a facility using cutting-edge laser technologies and to implement research and application projects in the field of laser-matter interaction using ultra-short laser pulses at high repetition rates and/or with high energy. All relevant information on the ELI Beamlines Project may be found at: http://www.eli-beams.euThe subject-matter of the Public Contract is stipulated in detail by Annex No 4 hereto (Purchase contract binding wording).The Contracting Authority requires that the following materially delimited proportion of the subject matter of the Public Contract shall not be performed by a subcontractor: final cleaning of all vacuum components, testing of vacuum performance of the compressor and of the injector, integration of the vacuum chambers with internal opto mechanical assemblies and verification of performance of the integrated systems, and integration of all instrumentation with the control system. If there are stated or included any requirements or references to any business names or designations (in the meaning of sec. 44 par. 11 of the Act) herein (including appendices), these designations a) are binding for the Participant due to necessity of compatibility of the subject matter of the Public Contract with other components (laser L3 and its overall technical environment) orb) serve as standards of quality where it is obvious from their wording (term ‘e.g.’ is used or the fact of standard of quality is expressed clearly otherwise). In such a case the participant is allowed to use other technical solutions similar in terms of quality for performance of the Public Contract.
