We would prefer the external audit service to be delivered by an independent firm of chartered accountants with direct experience of providing an audit service to scottish registered social landlords or similar type organisations. The contract will be awarded for a period of 7 years however performance will be reviewed annually. Subject to satisfactory performance, kha’s members will formally re-appoint the successful supplier each year at kha’s agm which normally takes place in september. The first audit to take place will be in relation to the financial statements ending 31 march 2020.
