This Delivery Order is for the creation and development of Structural Repair Manuals Phase One. Phase 1 allows for O-Level repair and maintenance to be performed on the Structure and Blades of the CH-53K aircraft. The effort was procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the CH-53K Structural Repair Manuals and therefore is the only Contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government?s need on a timely basis.
