The Organisations contribute to the effective administration of Scotland by collecting, holding, preserving, archiving & making available to the public, certain public records and archival collection materials. The archival boxes made from the box board provide a micro-environment for material collections including books, paper & manuscripts, protecting them from fluctuations in temperature, relative humidity, exposure to light, dust, handling damage and accidental release of water.
