The project scope of Services requires delivery of varied design phases from Preliminary Design through to Post Construction for the Cairns Hospital remedial works which are subsequent to the previous hospital redevelopment. The Services incorporate the following: The core separable portion element of the Services is: the Mental Health Unit (MHU) Improvement Project – to provide a compliant Mental Health facility that meets the current Australasian Health Facility Guidelines, Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient guidelines, Cairns Hinterland Hospital Health Service clinical requirements as well as Australian Standards and Legislation; and the remaining seven (7) separable portions have varying design requirements from audit/investigate to schematic design, requiring either a design development or design solution, and multiple tender processes across the portions.
