The MRBs must meet new and increased demands for flexibility, better maneuverability at sea, and higher speed, pile drawings and personnel security. A new and larger MRB type that still complies with the strict requirements for vessels for the coastal rescue service has led to a need for a boat construction that is not found on the market today, and FMI has foreseen that it is necessary to use both new and innovative construction solutions .
