These may include, but are not restricted to: installation of new gas/electric central heating systems, external insulated render, insulated plasterboard, underfloor insulation, re-glazing and any structural works required to enable the foregoing works etc.- These contracts may include the following house types: No Fines, Thain Chisolm, Whitsun Fairhurst, Anchor Timber, Banton, Timcon and Orlit.- The contractor should in his submission, make reference to any previous contracts where they have experience of upgrading any of these or other similar non-traditional house types.- The contractor will be expected to assist in providing all information required for building warrant applications for their chosen system supplier.- The Council will be engaging with Energy Company Obligation (ECO) funding for aspects of these projects, and as such all successful bidders will be expected to demonstrate how they will comply with the requirements of the latest edition of ‘PAS 2030, Specification for installation process, process management and service provision~ in respect of the installation of energy efficiency measures included under the Green Deal. For example, such compliance could be demonstrated by the provision of PAS certification details for installers of specific energy efficiency measures. Please note that this will be assessed and scored under Capability Questions (Q1).
