The purpose of this procurement exercise is to achieve the most economic and advantageous tender in the supply and installation of gpu nodes for a deep learning research and teaching cluster. The university is seeking to create a cluster with a number of gpu nodes based around the nvidia geforce rtx 2080 ti (11gb) gpu card that will be running a derivative of redhat enterprise server v7. The solution must fit within an existing standard 800x600 rack where there is a total of 40u space. Whatever solution is used due consideration should be paid to cooling constraints and the most appropriate card format/manufacturer.
