Agency : DEPT OF DEFENSE Sub-tier : DEPT OF THE NAVY Major Command : NAVAIR Sub Command : NAVAIR HQS Office : NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND Description The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) order under Lockheed Martin Corporate Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-19-G-0029 to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS), Owego, New York, to conduct system modernization planning, to determine options for integration of the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) capability into the MH-60R and MH-60S aircraft in support of United States Navy (USN). This effort includes the technical engineering and integration analysis activities to analyze the feasibility for MUOS integration in to the MH-60R/S aircraft. The MUOS is the USN s next generation narrowband tactical Ultra High Frequency (UHG) satellite communications (SATCOM) system, designed to improve communications for US forces. The projected period of performance is through 30 June 2022.
