According to Article 17 of the FFH directive, the member states are obliged every 6 years of the EU Commission to send the national report on the status of the implementation of the directive and to evaluate the states of conservation of all habitat types (LRT) and AR-TEN. In Germany, the report is mainly created on the basis of data from the countries that BA-Siere on nationwide uniform survey methods (see Appendix LB 1).
