Design, implementation, testing and supply of remote reading and metering equipment for the distribution of gas. As part of the counting operator program, the communicating gas meter aims the implementation of distance record of 11 million residential meters GRDF. The communicating gas meter project is built and led by phases, with all players in the gas sector, in particular in full cooperation with the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE). Through its successive deliberations, the CRE launched on 3.9.2009, the scoping phase and experimentation of the project, then the 21.7.2011, the solution of the construction phase. These decisions are mainly driven by a technical and economic study to shed light on the project~s profitability for the community, a proposed solution file to deploy a public consultation and solicitation of a panel of customers, with the all stakeholders to define the functional scope. The construction phase of the solution will last until the end of 2014. If a favorable decision is taken in 2013 by the government, the project will continue with a deployment of the extension phase of the connecting chain over the period 2015-2021. This is why the market will be divided into 3 parts: a firm part of a conditional 2015 to 2018 related to the decision of the CRE and an optional part of 2019-2021.
