The financial agreements are the first step in efforts to support citizens in their own homes. In the longer term, It is expected that telemedicine will be used in a wide range of disease and intervention areas such as heart failure, Diabetes, Telepsychiatry, Wounds, Rehabilitation etc. In connection with the implementation of telemedical home monitoring for citizens with copd in the capital, 29 municipalities and the capital region of denmark are agree to establish a three-year co-operation on service, Support and logistics to support telemedicine services in order to jointly undertake the obligations of the parties to the agreement in this respect (the cooperation agreement). The cooperation is organized as a cross-cutting cooperation based on section 78 (1) of the health act. 3 and 7.
