The maternity pack contains about 50 different baby clothes and baby care products for the baby, Primarily for newborn babies. The maximum value of the product package purchased for maternity packages is based on the government decree on maternity grant and adoption support (regulation 885/2002). At present it is 140 eur / pack (vat 0%). In the 2018 budget negotiations, The finnish government has decided to raise the amount of maternity allowance by 30 euros for 2018, When its value will increase to 201 euro / pack in 2018.
