The ohs will be made available to all 3500 [approx.] staff. Overseas staff are likely to represent around 3% of the workforce. The range of duties undertaken by university staff are multiple and varied; and include, but are not restricted to, the following: - desk associated work - customer facing work, with risk of exposure to upset and/or violent people - physical work e.g. Maintenance, estate management and cleaning - work outdoors in all seasons - staff working or coming into contact with hazardous substances including biohazards - shift workers - staff working with ionising radiation the initial contract duration will be 2 years, with two further year long extensions subject to supplier performance. Contract value is estimated at £40,000 - £60,000 p.a., however this is subject to budgetary constraints and outlay is not guaranteed.
