The troughs are equipped with locks (pen and groove) to ensure that the individual troughs in the route laying and not crossing them and thus damage the stored line. Storage of the lid in the trough is ensured so that the lid fits into the body of the trough and does not move the lid from the trough during the backfill. The interior of the trough must be smooth and without protrusions to prevent the cable sheath or HDPE pipe to be broken when storing cables in concrete troughs.
