| Overview | Contract Award's Details : CR19107 Heat Networks Skills Review UK SHARED BUSINESS SERVICES LIMITED CR19107 Heat Networks Skills Review **This contract has been awarded via Crown Commercial Services Research Marketplace DPS - RM6018.** 4. Deliverables It is our intention that a version of the final report will be made publicly available for example through the .gov website. As such bid responses should ensure to price for producing a publishable document. • Literature review - a short review, the results of which will go into the interim and final reports. • Interview guide - used to structure the engagement with the supply chain • Interviews - can be a mixture of telephone and face to face for focus groups. • Primary data collection from interviews • Interim report - to contain the results of the literature review, conclusions of the skills mapping exercise • A validated version of the results • A summary presentation of the key findings and recommendations • Final report (approx. 100 pages) and shorter summary document (see below) • Weekly phone calls and/or email progress updates with the BEIS project manager • Monthly meetings with the steering group to update on progress, including creation and distribution of delivery updates and progress to timeline. Final report: The report output will be required to answer the research questions, but we are open to proposals for a suitable structure, this may include some of the following sections: 1. Literature review Findings from the research: 2. Heat networks occupations and skills in the UK heat networks sector o Occupations o Career pathways and progression routes (recruitment) o Barriers and enablers to progression o Effectiveness of qualifications to progression 3. Training and re-training offers o Qualifications and standards in the heat networks sectors (incl. relevant developing bodies) o Employer familiarity with setting standards 4. The heat networks sector environment o Skills status quo o Shortages affecting all key occupations o Diversity, age, regionality, mobility, flexibility, competition o Organisational skill planning 5. Future skills o Key factors/drivers affecting the sector o Impacts on drivers affecting future workforce and skills challenges o Expectations on professions/skills evolving o Workplace challenges and risks o Opportunities and potential solutions 6.
