In accordance with (IAW) the requirement to publicize notice of proposed contract actions under FAR 5.201 and the requirement to synopsize, the purpose of this notice is to inform any interested potential vendors of the Government’s intent to award a firm fixed-price Purchase Order (PO) for the procurement of BASH Cannons for the 374th Air Wing (374 AW) at Yokota Air Base (AB), Japan. The total estimated value is less than $100,000. 2. Description of Requirement. The intended acquisition is a Firm Fixed-Price PO. The requirement is to procure 22 units of Scare Away Model R4 Electronic Cannon with rotating platform and incidental installation services. The 22 units are to replace the units currently in place at Yokota Air Base. 3. Based on the ab ove description, the Government intends to award to R-J INTLL INC. on a sole-source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), and FAR Subpart 13.5.
