The works include the construction of 2no. 3-storey corner infill blocks and 1no. 3-store extension, each providing 3no. 1-bed flats and a common stair. The also include the construction of 6no. new common stairs. Whilst connected to the existing buildings, the infill blocks/extension are essentially standalone timber-framed buildings with an outer, rendered, blockwork leaf and lightweight metal roofing. The new common stairs are cavity blockwork construction with timber trusses and lightweight metal roofing.This tender seeks to appoint a Contractor to provide us with flooring to the stairwell areas of the works as per the specification included in this package. The works will incorporate the landing and stairs in each stairwell in all four phases. All works to be as per the specification included in the tender package. You will be required to liaise with other Contractors/ site manager To ensure you are available when required for smooth scheduling of the works.Time is of the essence therefore it is critical to the success of these works that the successful contractors can carry out and complete the works within the specified timescales.Phase 1 on site date August 2016Phases 2,3 & 4 on site dates October 2016Tenders will be evaluated using 60% price, 35% quality and 5% work force matters.
