In the reserved part of the 4th floor of the infectious pavilion of the Bulovka University Hospital, an infectious box will be built, kept in the BSL3 class, for observation, resp. treatment of patients with suspected serious infectious diseases of the Ebola type, falling under the BSL3 classification. The infection box will be used as a classic ICU for a substantial part of the year. In case of suspicion of a serious infectious disease, the arrangement of the box must allow a quick change of the mode of use of the ICU to a box with the BSL3 mode. The infection box will be equipped with an efficient ventilation system for both types of operation.
