This contract is being procured on behalf of Northamptonshire County Council, but allows access to Cambridgeshire County Council. As this is a framework agreement there is no guarantee of levels of requirement from either Authority. This contract will last for a period of 4 years and will take the form of a framework agreement. Depending on the nature of work to be undertaken, individual work packages will be specified and awarded either by: a) Direct call-off i.e. priced according to a schedule of rates agreed as a result of this tender process and awarded to the Provider which offers best value; or b) Via a further competition with the framework providers. It is estimated that the total contract value will be approximately 1 000 000 GBP for Lot 1 and no greater than 700 000 GBP for Lot 2, over the 4 year period (for the 2 authorities combined). Headline service requirements for the 2 Lots: 1. Lot 1 — Closed landfill — monitoring and management; 2. Lot 2 — Activities relating to the delivery of our waste services and improvement projects.
