Both vessels undertake cruises to support interdisciplinary ocean research ranging from the tropics to the edge of the ice sheets and continental margins to deep ocean projects. The rrs james cook will be having an engine service and require labour to undertake the work and to ensure it is carried out to the oem specification. Requirements: only genuine oem services & parts are recognised by the vessels classification society. The oem has a unique knowledge of its own product. Spares provided and subsequent work to assemble the unit will be carried out by the oem, ensuring they will be covered by a full oem warranty. The service will be acceptable to the vessels classification society.
