The equipment will be used in HUS emergency clinicsfor rapid diagnostics of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and B virus and RS virus. The equipment is used by the staff of the emergency clinic. The results are directed to the patient information system via the laboratory information system (LIS). The equipment is acquired by renting. At least two will be introduced in 2024set of devices that are placed in the emergency clinics of Malmi Hospital and Hyvinkaa Hospital. In addition, HUS reserves the option of commissioning eight (8) similar equipment during the years 2024 - 2026.
