The board operates and develops, among other things, The systems that support the preparation of Finance Act and state accounts. The systems are self-developed and are currently operated by the Board itself in a mainfram environment, which today consists of an IBM ZBC12 (2828-K01), as well as Disks of Type IBM DS8870 (2423). In addition, an older taping system consisting of 3592-L06 Controller, TS3400 Tape Library (3577) and TS1100 Tape is operated (3592-E06). The systems are run under Operating System IBM ZVM 7.1. The Board wants a processor that is backward compatible so that it is able to run the Board's existing systems. The processor must be prepared and connected to existing external devices and data must be migrated as part of the delivery.
