The Oderbruch is located in the east of Brandenburg and covers an area of ??around 800 km2 with a total of 160 km of first-order water bodies maintained by the LfU. For the planned creation of the URP, in the course of the basic determination, the water sections listed in Appendix 2 of the service description are to be recorded using an echo sounder. The aim is to record the structure of the river bed. The bodies of water listed in Appendix 2 must be navigated over the entire maximum technically possible receiving width.
