The next Conference of Parties (COP21) to be held in Paris in November 2015 should be an important step towards an international climate agreement, to contain global warming below 2 ° C by 2100. Achieving this objective supposes to limit energy consumption and the emission of greenhouse gases in the different sectors of the French economy. The construction sector, France contributes 45% of final energy consumption and a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions. In particular, the renovation of existing buildings is a major issue, taking account of a fleet renewal rate of around 0.5%. An ambitious regulatory framework has been implemented, aimed at a 38% reduction of the energy consumption of existing buildings by 2020. The major renovations of existing homes must achieve by 2017 a number of 500 000 yards, including 380,000 in the private park. However, the setting in motion of the market for energy renovation of housing is much harder on the private park and socially park. Thus, the quality renovations volume is proportionately five times less than the private park of the park social landlords. The energy improvement encounters in private housing, a series of difficulties that warrant further research on devices that may promote the implementation of decisions to carry out work.
