The technical cooperation project is part of Green Urban Mobility Partnership (GUMP) between India and Germany. Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Ministry of Heavy Industries (MoHI) shall be jointly implementing the E-Mobility project. The objective of the project is to improve the conditions for coupling the transport and energy sectors for climate-friendly electric mobility and achieve sustainable, socially balanced, and inclusive urbanisation (SDG 11) by improving the environmental and industrial protection of the environment and infrastructure in urban areas, in particular with regard to environmental and climate aspects and the improvement of living conditions, especially for the poor urban population.
