IPS Panels, Vanity Units & Cubicles The Authority has secured funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the Killingworth Site Sustainable Retrofit project. This project is a combination of refurbishment and replacement of the existing office accommodation, workshop, welfare and other facilities on the site ensuring it & 039;future proofs& 039; its operations, with energy efficiency and functionality as the key principles using a range of energy efficient systems, alongside energy generation and energy storage/distribution solutions to support a move to an electronic powered operational fleet. This procurement opportunity relates specifically to IPS Panels, Vanity Units & Cubicles. North Tyneside Council will be the Principal Contractor for the project therefore tenderers should note that they will be working in the capacity of Sub-Contractor. Tenderers must be aware that this is an operational site and as such Works must be undertaken taking into consideration neighbouring occupied buildings, vehicle movements and office and field-based employees accessing and attending the site in vehicles and on foot. Please Note: The Block A site is very restrictive for access / plant movements. Tenderers will be required to confirm that they will comply will the Authority& 039;s minimum standards in relation to health & safety and mandatory training requirements. All operatives must hold CSCS cards, relevant training certification and any other trade/task specific relevant qualifications. In light of the current situation with COVID 19 timescales will be confirmed with the successful contractor.
