The Trust has secured DHSC approval of an Outline Business Case (‘OBC’) and has also secured outline planning consent. The project must be complete in 2025. The Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative mechanical, electrical and public health engineering designer with specialist sustainability/net zero carbon and digital design services. The appointed consultant shall act as the lead designer with reference to the specified services. Alongside other members of the design team, the consultant shall be employed directly by the Trust to develop a coordinated RIBA Stage 2 design solution prior to being novated to a contractor at approximately the conclusion to RIBA Stage 2 who shall then be responsible for the production of design/construction information and providing required services through to handover and including, where appropriate, during the Use Stage.
