The existing make-up air dampers are damaged and require replacement. The existing exhaust air fans are operational and are part of the buildings smoke ventilation strategy. Current general ventilation modes are through manual push button operation. This project includes replacement of the inlet dampers and provision of automatic controls for fire alarm mode and general ventilation modes. An option has been included for the addition of high level ceiling fans. The existing fans are from the original installation circa 1993. Their replacement/servicing is excluded from the project scope as they are currently operational.
