Contract award notice: PSC-1282 Implementation of the EIB Group survey of investment and investment finance. Over this period, the survey will investigate market trends and their determinants in terms of investment and investment finance decisions for a sample of some 12 000 non-financial corporates in all 28 EU Member States. The survey will be designed to ensure comparability of key corporate investment and investment finance indicators at the ‘country/industry grouping’ and ‘country/size-class’ level. To also allow for comparability over time, the second and third wave of the survey will revisit previously interviewed establishments as well as interview new firms. That is, the survey will consist of a panel sample and a refresher sample. While the general module of the survey will focus in each wave on the investment behaviour of non-financial corporates and their financing decisions, a smaller (‘add-on’) module will explore additional topics of interest for the EIB — such as, in the first year, EIB client satisfaction — which can change from year to year. The target population of the ‘add-on module’ will comprise non-financial corporates, banks as well as public sector entities. The EIB Group is looking to award a contract to a leading market research company, statistical office, etc. which will carry out the survey (both modules) by means of telephone interviews and an online follow-up as described in Section II of the terms of reference and its appendices. The tender is not divided into lots. The tenderer must, therefore, be able to provide all services requested in the terms of reference.
