Overview	Contract Award's Details : Transformers Northern Ireland Electricity Networks 120 Malone Road For the attention of: Lynsey Tate BT9 5HT Belfast United Kingdom Telephone: +44 7585941072 Fax: +44 7585974072 E-mail: Lynsey.Tate@nienetworks.co.uk Internet address(es): Rewiring, Ceilings & Internal Decoration (Phased Works) - Our Lady~s High School, Motherwell Contract Award Notice or Call Off from Framework: 5.1.1 General Description of the WorksThis Contract is estimated at GBP 2,280,000.00 with an internal decoration element of GBP 300,000.00 and renewal of the ceilings element at GBP 430,000.00.The contractor shall visit site during the tender period to assess all necessary downtakings.The contract will involve full strip out and replacement of the school~s entire electrical installation including full replacement of switchboards, switchgear, distribution boards, luminaires, socket outlets, power supplies, existing period bell system and fire alarm system.All existing intruder alarms, door access, data and telecommunications installations, panic alarms, boiler plant and controls wiring will be retained including the ground floor dining and kitchen area power, lighting installations and equipment.The electrical contractor will be responsible for all builders~ works and down takings and replacement of all ceilings and indicated on series (35) drawings.All existing Thorn Diffusalux luminaires will be taken down with duty of care and handed back to the client.All works will be implemented under an agreed phased programme of works. The contractor shall allow for all necessary works required for accommodating the proposed phased programme of works within their tender submission. (Refer to schedule 5 for proposed phasing.)No additional claims for works associated with phasing of works will be entertained under this contract. The contractor will allow for installing temporary power and lighting as required.5.1.2 UtilitiesElectrical supplyThe contractor shall be responsible for liaising with the school~s nominated electrical supplier and meter operator and arranging all necessary works with regards to the renewal of the existing cable head, relocation of existing CT meter and safe isolation of main incoming fuses in association with disconnection and reconnection of the main LV incoming cables intended to serve the new main switch board.
