Contract award notice: Finland will participate in the distribution of food to deprived persons through the European Fund for the Disadvantaged European Union co-funded by the European Union in accordance with Regulation (EU) 223/2014 for the programming period 2014-2020. The fund is part of the EU's cohesion policy and its financial framework is defined as part of the EU Structural Funds. The Commission has approved the Finnish Operational Program for Minority Assistance for the programming period. The second phase of the Operational Program (2017-2020) will be launched in Finland in 2017. Mavi will centrally purchase foods distributed to people who are deprived of funds under the operational program. Foods to be bought include wheat flour, turnip flour, powdered flour, pastry, preserved meat, sour cream, breakfast cereal, ready-meal material, pea soup and milk powder. Foods must be delivered in two (2) delivery packages in 2017 to Mav's central warehouse.
