The City provides project management and project management for the creation of very high speed links at the request of its services and external users. The City of Rennes thus provides black fiber optic links (not activated) for public partners, operators and private users of independent networks on the basis of a tariff schedule voted by the city council. The FOR network has 500 km of civil engineering linear, including 460 km in its own infrastructure, 15.8 km in the fire coordination network, 8.3 km in the sanitation network and 14 in the metro.
