In 2014, an architectural competition for the extension of the Ludwig Schwamb School was held. The selected design by the architect Walter Huber Architekten GmbH, Stuttgart has now been implemented. As part of the urban development work, the location of an additional kindergarten on the site was defined in the competition. The joint accommodation of school and daycare creates synergies between the two educational locations. The planned new building is to be realized with 7 groups (44 children in the U3 area and 66 children in the O3 area).
