Object of the Contract is the supply of 30 tons ± 30 percent Activated Carbon for a period of 12 months with extension right for another 12 months (provided that both parties agree on the same terms and the same prices) for supply of additional 30 tons ± 30 percent cent. Basic product requirements are: (1) the product offered Activated Carbon should not be regeneration product; (2) the product offered Activated Carbon should be embedded; (3) the prosferontes must provide recent (last semester) authentic laboratory test certificates from recognized independent laboratory (in English or Greek language) using standard analytical methods (standard ASTM) for the analysis of the offered Activated Carbon features as stated in the documents the competition; (4) the activated carbon manufacturer must be certified by the quality system ISO 9001 and have at least five years experience in producing and supplying activated carbon. The product delivery will be made gradually over the life of the contract based on the Council~s needs in quantities of about 15 tons per delivery. Activated charcoal should be packed in bags of 20 to 25 kilograms, lined with polyethylene or similar material and the bags must be installed and properly protected (plastic wrap) in weight pallet 600 kg.
