This was provided pro bono for the period 20/04/20 to 31/12/20 inclusive. However, DHSC had to purchase 20,000 Pulse Oximeters at pace to allocate to the Pilot& 039;s patients, and these were in short supply and high demand in April 2020, as a number of countries were rolling out a similar pilot scheme. DHSC agreed one-off supply contract for these Pulse Oximeters via Huma& 039;s supply chain to ensure stock was available immediately, and configured to meet the Pilot& 039;s specification.
