Contract award notice:Carry out the remediation of groundwater contaminated with chlorinated ethenyl using biological reductive dehalogenation (BRD) with dairy whey as a substrate and a reducing agent. Whey application will infiltration into drains projected in the focus of pollution in the southwestern part of the former factory premises Elton in Nove Mesto nad Metují, as well as to selected existing wells in the focus of pollution and the rest of the contaminated cloud on the territory of photovoltaic power plants. Part of the subject contract is also to project documentation for the execution of the project; securing permission for exemption under Sec. 2, Section 3, Article. 17 paragraph. 1 EP and Council Regulation (EC) no. 1069/2009 for the use of dairy whey as a by-product of animal third category in the execution of the work; Registration geological work in Geofond; etapových processing of regular annual and final reports; liquidation of some selected existing wells; and post-remedial monitoring.
