Contract award: Specialized Strategic Tourism Action Plan and Strategy Development Study of Human Resources in tourism. The project concerns the definition of the actions of the Strategic Tourism Plan, which has already been carried out by SETE (Tourist Strategic Planning 2021) and design an appropriate strategy development and utilization of human resources and the effective labor supply and demand coupling in the tourism sector through diagnostics business needs in professions, skills and human resources skills. The scope of the project includes the following Business Units: i. work section A: identification of opportunities and problems of individual business sectors of tourism and analytical qualitative and quantitative mapping of their needs in professions, skills and human resources skills. The work section A concerns in conducting field research on a representative sample of tourist businesses with main objectives: 1) identify opportunities and problems of individual sectors of the tourism business in connection with the upgrading of service, expanding the tourist season and enhancing their competitiveness, 2) diagnosis of needs (present and future) of tourism businesses in professions, skills and human resources skills. The primary research will be done on a representative sample of at least 2500 businesses in the tourism sector (respect in 2500 completed questionnaires). Regarding the sample, it must ensure the representativeness to a level, including sub-sectors of tourism sized enterprises (micro, small, medium, large), geographical dispersion; ii. work section B specializes strategic tourism action plan. The work section B concerns the definition of the actions of the Strategic Tourism Plan, which has already been carried out by SETE (Tourist Strategic Planning 2021), through the establishment of Road Maps (operational plans) to develop specific markets and products are proposed in the Strategic Plan, exploiting the findings of the field research that will take place within the Business Unit A of the Project. The specificity of the Strategic Tourism Plan will address at least the individual main branches / products of tourism, as identified in the Tourism Strategic Plan 2021 SETE, while, should be taken into account and the identified in the Strategic Plan support categories of tourism (agro -, economic, gastronomy Tourism and Activities). For each product category is necessary specialization strategy of product and market strategy per category of visitors, the analysis of the required infrastructure investments (tangible, intangible, business environment) and the development of appropriate promotional strategy.
