RPG weapons are widely used by non-conventional forces, e.g. by Taliban in Afghanistan. The weapon is used against vehicles of each species and can in a short distance severe significant damage to both supplies and personnel. The purpose of the RPG protection is to make the vehicles more resistant to attack with PG-7 rockets. The protection can - depending on demand and dismantle the vehicle of the defense itself.
