Contracting authority - Academic Medical Center: The Academic Medical Center (AMC) is one of the eight university medical centers in the Netherlands and is counted in the field of academic medicine to the international top. As a university medical center, the AMC has three main tasks. Most important is the treatment of patients. In addition, many medical research conducted at the AMC. Third task is to take care of medical education. The AMC was founded in 1983. Then came two hospitals from the Amsterdam city center, the Wilhelmina Hospital and Binnengasthuis under one roof with the medicine faculty of the University of Amsterdam. Thus, the AMC was the first Dutch university medical center. In 1988, the Emma Children were also part of the new university hospital. The strategic objectives, the AMC has formulated clear ambitions in the field of research, education, and patient care. Those ambitions are invariably high. AMC wants quality and patient make demonstrable and verifiable. The aim is to reconcile the AMC quality management system with the standards of the Joint Commission International (JCI). More information can be found on the website www.jointcommissioninternational.org these high aspirations, financial pressures will further increase. This means that the AMC in the coming years must realize the ambitions with less. The financial situation of the AMC and the developments in the coming years will be carefully mapped. The AMC has relatively high costs, even compared to other UMC. This is partly due to the cost of the building, the high cost of primary and secondary processes, and due to the relatively complex (and therefore expensive) patients. In the interest of each patient, our students and others who undergo training, each individual employee and the AMC, the policy aims to increase efficiency and productivity without sacrificing quality. If you would like more general information about the AMC, you can view the website at www.amc.nl Purpose of contract: The purpose of this tender is to conclude an agreement for the conclusion of a framework agreement for PCR plastics for the duration of 2 years with the possibility of an extension of two times one year. scope: Reaching a framework agreement for PCR plastics used in the AMC for the Division Laboratory specialties. Specifically refers to PCR strips and matching caps, PCR plates, sequence records and real-time PCR plates for the Lightcycler (Roche). Justification bundling: The market consultation has shown that splitting into lots more vendors offer the ability to make an offer for one or more lots.
