Since NIH``s announcement on November 18, 2015 eliminating biomedical research on NIH-owned andsupportedchimpanzees, the CCC has continued to provide care for the chimpanzees residing at their facility untilthose animals that could be transferred to the Federal Sanctuary were retired.
