In the next few years, only a very limited compensation can be carried out via the far -reaching pipeline network. It was therefore decided to set up the infrastructure for the import of gas in the form of liquefied gas (LNG), which was almost unable to be in Germany. Specifically, an FSRU terminal is to be built at the Wilhelmshaven II (Voslapper Groden). A floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) chartered by Germany must also be stationed on this terminal.
