The purpose of the construction is the electrification of the line in the section Prunérov Kadan - Kadan for the operation of passenger transport lines Decin - Usti nad Labem - Prunérov Kadan - Kadan in the dependent traction, in accordance with the transport policy of the Ústí region. This will be achieved electrification of the track section Prunérov Kadan - Kadan, construction of traction substations and reconstruction of the railway station and the new station Kadan. Another aim of the construction is to optimize the degree of infrastructure, the scope of which is currently significantly exceeds the traffic demand. Another goal is to increase the safety and reliability of rail transport, increase competitiveness against road transport and the increase of traveling passengers.
