The new construction of IKC Muiden is being realized in de Krijgsman in Muiden. The total size is approximately 3,600 m GFA. Functions include childcare and two primary schools. In the context of sustainability, IKC Muiden is an Almost Energy Neutral Building (BENG) and it must meet at least Fresh Schools class B. Furthermore, IKC Muiden must be flexible in design, as well as low-maintenance and cleaning-friendly. For example, part of the building must be able to be used independently and must be technically compartmentalizable.
