The Dimension atomic force microscope is a measuring instrument used to study the surface properties of conductive and non-conductive samples and is able to scan three-dimensional maps (topography) and surface properties of the sample. The requirement to expand the system is based on the need to measure surface structures on samples to an extent not allowed on the existing system. The required extension of the Dimension AFM system must allow the range of the area in which the samples can be inspected to be increased. The extension of the inspection area of ??the sample must be realized by a direct extension of the range of the motorized table enabling the positioning of the sample in the X and Y axes relative to the position of the measuring scanner.
