The County of San Diego Public Safety Group and the San Diego County Sheriff s Department have completed a project to re-host the San Diego Users Network/California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (SUN/CLETS) from the County mainframe to a new environment in the Sheriff s secure data center. The new system is known as eSUN, and is available to SAC San Diego at the Sheriff s secure SDLaw web site via ARJISNet. This contract was not competitively awarded and it was determined that the San Diego Assocation of Governments is the only entity that can provide the required services.
