The work is related to the EU Commission's enforcement decision C (2020) 2672, which will allow Schengen countries to introduce a digital stamp (2D barcode) with a visa sticker. Finland must have the technical conditions to introduce the solution in the production environment by April 30, 2022. As part of the solution to the visa system, integration will be made into a signature service provided by the Digital and Population Information Agency (DVV), which creates a signature for the 2D barcode on the visa sticker.
