Overview	Contract Award's Details : Supply of Ranibizumab (Lucentis) The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland) (the Authority), National Procurement, 2 Swinhill Avenue, Town: Larkhall, Postal Code: ML9 2QX, Telephone: 1698794544, E-Mail: mairi.gibson@nhs.net, r CMAL 0089 Kerrera and Gallanach Slipway and Breakwater Works Contract Award Notice: Scope of WorkThe Contractor shall be responsible for all works as detailed in Schedule 5 Works Specification and shown on the Tender Drawings, and in particular, but not limited to, the following principal items.- Establishment of Contractor~s working area(s) within restricted available areas;- Provision of barrier(s) to isolate the Works;- Protection and maintenance of facilities for existing Kerrera Ferry operations;- Compliance with all relevant environmental, health and safety legislation and requirements, including all additional requirements the Employer;- The excavation and disposal of unsuitable material from the seabed;- The construction of a new reinforced concrete slipway extension at Kerrera;- The construction of a new slipway extension at Gallanach comprising a series of pre-cast concrete elements supported on tubular steel piles;- Removal of existing barge and existing concrete blocks at the head of the existing Kerrera breakwater;- Excavation of soft material underwater to reach the existing rock stratum;- Disposal of excavated material;- Placement of quarry run foundation layer as specified on the drawings;- Placement of quarry run core, rock armour and pre-cast walkway units forming the inner length of the breakwater in accordance with the drawings;- Casting of quay wall concrete blocks as specified on the drawings;- Preparation of bedding layers for the quay wall concrete blocks;- Placement of quay wall concrete blocks using suitable equipment and apply grouting between the concrete blocks as specified on the drawings;- Provide and install quay furniture including ladders, rubber strip fenders and mooring features.- Demobilisation of Contractor~s working areas.
