This is to be carried out in accordance with requirements of Highway Design Note CS228 in the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.These surveys will assist Councils, to ensure road surfaces provide adequate skid resistance to drivers during wet conditions, as well as providing data to assist where road maintenance needs to be targeted, to reduce related incidents.
